  10. DESCRIPTION: EGATrek simulates the captains console of a starship, and
  11. places you in command during an invasion by enemy ships. Your task is
  12. to conquer all enemy ships in your assigned portion of the galaxy, using
  13. your ship and its weapons as efficiently as possible.
  14.  
  15. You are scored on the time you take to complete your mission (IF you
  16. complete it!), plus other bonuses such as rescues, number of enemy ships
  17. destroyed, etc.
  18.  
  19. REQUIREMENTS: EGATrek runs in 640x350, 16 color EGA graphics, thus an
  20. EGA or VGA card and monitor are required.
  21.  
  22. SHAREWARE: EGATrek is distributed as Shareware. You are free to try the
  23. game and make copies for others. If you continue to use the game,
  24. however, you are asked to pay the author the registration fee of $15
  25. (#12.95 in the U.K.; see UKORDER.TXT for details) to support continued
  26. development of this and other software; in return you'll receive a copy
  27. of the latest version of the game. A "deluxe" version with binder,
  28. printed manual and quick reference card is available for $22. Please
  29. include $2 shipping/handling with your payment, or $4 for deluxe
  30. versions. Outside North America please include $4 shipping on all
  31. orders. Also add $2 for 3.5" disks. Disk vendors may include EGATrek in
  32. their catalog provided a copy of the catalog is supplied to the author.

  75. MAHJONGG:  Addictive solitaire game played with Chinese tiles. Very
  76.            easy to learn but always a challenge to win. Many game
  77.            options including timed games, tournaments, etc. Also
  78.            allows loading optional tile sets (tile editor included).
  79.            Supports EGA and Hercules graphics; mouse optional.

  87. TMATCH:    Tile Match is a variation on concentration solitaire or
  88.            "memory", but adds multiple player versions (up to four
  89.            players) and play against the computer. Many scoring and
  90.            difficulty settings allow use by any age player. Uses
  91.            the same tiles for playing pieces as Mah Jongg solitaire
  92.            and includes the tile editor.

  94. TILESETS:  Several collections of tile sets created by various
  95.            Mah Jongg fans are available. Each collection includes
  96.            at least ten tile sets. Requires Mah Jongg v3.3 or later
  97.            or any version of Tile Match.

  99. CIPHER:    A word puzzle game, yet it uses hi-res VGA or EGA graphics
  100.            to run (mouse optional). Also will run in color text mode.
  101.            Includes over 30 puzzles to solve; registered version comes
  102.            with over 200 additional puzzles. You can also enter your
  103.            own already encrypted puzzles and additional puzzle disks
  104.            are available. A Windows version is also available.
  105.  
  106. SHOOT:     "Shooting Gallery" is a colorful arcade game with several
  107.            different rounds to test your aim and reflexes, including
  108.            skeet, quick draw, carnival type shooting range and a wild 
  109.            west shootout. Uses 320x200, 256 color mode and a mouse to
  110.            play. Requires VGA or MCGA.

  112.            Selected as one of the top ten EGA/VGA shareware games
  113.            of all time.

  140.            created or modified. EGA and CGA versions provided.

  143. These programs are probably available on your favorite BBS or from
  144. your favorite disk vendors. To register them or to order direct, use
  145. the form in the file "orderfrm.txt" which is all ready to print. The
  146. "deluxe" version includes the registered software on diskette, plus a
  147. binder and printed manual (some programs also include quick reference
  148. cards). The standard version includes just the diskette with the
  149. registered software. You can also use your VISA or MasterCard to
  150. order on-line thru the support BBS, Xevious, at 508-788-6951. Use
  151. "CREDIT" to order.
